Keurig Dr. Pepper, formerly Keurig Green Mountain 2014–2018 and originally Green Mountain Coffee Roasters 1981–2014 is a publicly-traded American beverage and beverage-maker conglomerate with headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts. Its east-coast division sells coffee and other beverages, and Keurig brewers. As of July 2018, the newly merged conglomerate also sells sodas, juices, and other soft drinks via its Dr. Pepper Snapple division based in Texas.

Waterbury correspondent Carla Occaso reported on Keurig's layoffs in February 2019, here is a part of the piece she wrote for the TIMESARGUS website: “One of this town’s largest employers cut a slew of jobs last year, but at least one local official says they’ve made it through worse. Eighty-two employees were laid off in Waterbury out of 118 total in Vermont on Oct. 25, according to reports. Keurig Dr. Pepper, formerly Keurig Green Mountain, and, before that, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, announced job cuts three months after Keurig’s merger with Dr. Pepper Snapple became final in July 2018The company also closed development laboratories in the Waterbury location. Keurig maintains facilities in South Burlington, Williston, and Essex. Waterbury Municipal Manager William Shepeluk said while losing the jobs is bad, it’s not nearly as bad as the local job loss caused in 2011 when Tropical Storm Irene destroyed the Waterbury State Office Complex and displaced roughly 1,500 workers”

"I would NOT recommend working here to anyone. The environment is toxic and depressing. There is no organization and it's just one dumpster fire after the next. Everyone is just a warm body in a seat. I was never trained nor are there are development plans (at least within the department I was in- supply chain). There are tons of great companies out there so do not waste your time at this one. On top of a horrible culture, the medical benefits are truly a joke. There is only one option to choose from and it is not a great one (especially if you are married with a family)."

"* Company outsourcing all financial positions out of US. * Little to no growth/promotion opportunties * Once robust and attractive benefits, which offset lower than industry base wages/salaries (including free coffee, 52 hours/year paid volunteer time and affordable wellness insurances were slashed or eliminated because company didn't want to provide to ALL employees after acquisition, which grew employee base by 4x the previous amount. * Work/Life Balance no longer truly supported by this company. * Paid volunteer time reduced from 52 hours/year to 8, seriously reducing the ability for employees to continue serving in existing volunteer roles within the community. Again, this was changed due to not wanting to offer to increased employee base. * Human Resources reduced to general mailbox for general inquiries and online resources that employees must access on their own, which assumes all employees are computer savvy and have access to computer/internet. * Human beings are just 'units' and 'assets'; positions are partitioned so that people are performing only one task and are discouraged from working with others to understand the larger picture. This of course is so that robots can eventually perform all tasks and human beings be eliminated from the equation. * Constant restructing by management allows for veteran employees to be eliminated and replaced younger, less experienced employees for cost savings."

"They are bad payroll mess up I been waiting on my check for over a week now and they keep telling us it will be in ur account being going threw this for over 2years jus management sucks bad omg"

Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) says

"Management is terrible. As the forklift driver you are required to do far more work than others. Back in trucks, check in drivers, wrap the pickers pallets, load pallets, strap pallets, pull out trucks, restock poducts and repeat. All while the pickers only pick. Never know when you are going to go home. An extremely dependent position where you need the supervisor to call the routes accordingly and efficiently(dont count on it); hope the pickers aren't slacking; and drivers arriving late just to get out at a reasonable time. Any and every inconvenience the forklift driver suffer the consequences. System crashes every other day. Supervisor only cares to make the picker's job easier (keep in mind, they only have 1 job)Free drinks and occasional lunchesNo balance in the work load. Dont know when you're going home. Late drivers. Supervisor"

"In batching its very unsafe back breaking work supervisor have no clue what there doing. If it wasent for the batchers supervisors would be doomed. No one is there to give you traing no lunches or breaks if your backed up they dont care no one will relive you. Pay is low especially for the amont of stress im in. Safety diaent know what they are doing. To many kids hired as supervisor but they are clueless seems like company is desperate or they are to cheap to get the right type of supervisors. Witch i belive we dont need them all they do is sit in there office. We beed better planners and people who care for there workers.and there is a lot of favoritism here. Certaun guys get the weekends. Certain people miss constantly and they dont have worry about. As for the person that came in with no connection but is the hardest worker there if u miss one day they are texing you on personnel phone after you left a message on the companys line. They tex you all the tume on your phone witch i belive company should pay it if your going to pay it for the supervusors why not us. They change your lunch time atomically for the company wont see you are taking late lunches and no obe was there to relive you. What can say you have to many guys with degrees that are not cut out for this. You make a mistake they want to write u up right away. Even when things arent your fault they want to blame anyone. Not all but supervisos in batching department should not be there THEY HAVE NO EXPERIENCE And sit in there offuce all day sont need themSunday u get free foodManagement, supervisors, leads are no good. She was a team leader and attempted to stop the operators from taking extended breaks, etc... She was called into the office, and written up. She left the company due to racial issues that the company turns their heads the other way and ignores. It is a check.overall negative treatment from management."

"When I first started off everything was cool until there was a misunderstanding is with me and another employee and after that everything started going downhill I started seeing favoritism I started seeing discrimination racism. Everyday I came in only thing I wanted to do was work but I was picked on every time I went to go complain about what was going on inside the warehouse cuz they have no cameras management always told me that I was overthinking and overreacting of course minority of the people was Caucasian so I believe that warehouse is basis put my 2 weeks in and kept being picked on so I went to work speaking out loud and got fired"

They complain about everything, they be nagging at you all day with the company phone they provide you with about why you taking so long this and that ect they will have you work more stores if you finish early or make you stay later past your shift to help other employees on our team that needs help then you can do something right complete it but if it looks something off not right they question you as if you didn't do your job right !!!!If you can handle that kiddos to you but for me it was too stressful, too demanding, I want to be able to go to a job not having to worry about stress!!!!!"

"Management is the worst ever, communication is a word they miss in their vocabulary. They are ALWAYS short handed so expect to work 6 days a week since the day you start.The pay is the worst among all of the beverages companies (that's part of the problem why they have been always short of staff). Your route may change in the middle of the day with no notice, if you ask for something it may take you one or two days to get an answer, in conclusion this company is a total disaster."
